Editorial Standards & Corrections

How we source claims

Every factual claim about a study, a drug, or a decision is anchored to a specific, citable source: a published paper, a trial registry entry, a regulatory document, a hearing transcript, or a financial disclosure. Where we reproduce a chart or table, we reproduce it from the primary source and say so; we do not generate or estimate data.

How we handle uncertainty

We state what the evidence establishes and, just as plainly, what it does not. We distinguish observational signals from randomized evidence, preclinical from clinical, and association from causation.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it and say what changed. To report an error, contact us with the article and the specific claim at issue.
